Attention all Brooklynites – Museum Hack is in Prospect Park! Hack the Park by Museum Hack is part “Amazing Race”, part scavenger hunt, and all fun.
If you’re hunting for something unique in NYC or are looking for things to do in Brooklyn, check out Hack the Park! Museum Hack runs this awesome outdoor activity in one of the best places in NYC.
Prospect Park is located in the heart of Brookyln and is a great place to spend a beautiful day.
If you love Central Park you’ll get that same feeling visiting Prospect Park. It was designed by the Central Park creators Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.
This is why Prospect Park can be just as impressive and beautiful in its engineering as Central Park, but isn’t as well-known.
A Day Hacking Prospect Park
Frequent Living Charm guest blogger Aurora had her friend Celia in from out of town. They both didn’t know what to expect when they decided to “hack” Prospect Park.
What is Hack the Park?
Hack the Park is a team-based challenge that is part “Amazing Race” and part scavenger hunt. Aurora and Celia showed up at Central Park’s secret sibling and were ready to get down and dirty.
They whipped their cameras out, put their game face on, and went all out. What they discovered is that Hack the Park truly is a fun way to to discover the hidden facts, secrets, and stories about the monuments, architecture, buildings, and locations in the park.
All the while you compete in challenges that included Bingo, capturing certain photos, tree identity-and-seek, and starring in your own historical reenactments!
Museum Hack offers non-traditional tours in some of the biggest cities. We love collaborating with them, like we did here and when we checked out their crazy, comedy tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
